Starting back up!
Hey everyone,
Well it's been a LONG time since I sat down and hashed out a communications blog post. Let me be the first to say sorry. Things have been very busy and it became something that shifted to the back burner and did so for so long, that I just about forgot I had a blog to update.
That leads me into today's post.
If you're going to do a blog don't forget about it. Blogs are a great way of connecting with an audience. If you provide good content on a regular basis people will make a point to check it for new content. They may even subscribe to the blog and automatically be aware of any new posts. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true of a blog that stays stagnant for too long. If you've forgotten about your blog, how can you expect anyone else to remember it?
Let this post serve as a reminder to you and to me that this blog is here, it's important (or at least I hope it is). I hope it serves a purpose to help our local churches better understand communications, social media and living in a Google world. I'm hoping to be able to post a entry once a week at least. So please keep checking back for more new content.
