The South Carolina United Methodist Conference is received the Champions of After School Award from the South Carolina After-School Alliance and National After-school alliance, alone with other organizations at the annual Lights On After-School Rally. 

69% of Students do not have the option for after-school programming in our state because it’s not available. Ok so that’s over 2/3rds of our children who do not even have the option for after-school programming.

Of the children that do have the option for after-school programming. 86% of children who participate in after-school programming all year long, on average increase there academic scores.
