Happy Birthday Blog!
I've been thinking
about this for awhile. I agonized over the title. Then I told myself
I'd begin after Christmas. It's a big commitment. But last night, I
thought I'd just check and see how to get started and the next thing you know,
this blog was born. It's not quite finished, yet. I need a picture
for the profile, for example. Birthing this blog reminds me of when my
first child was born. You spend nine months thinking about it and
preparing for it, but when the baby decides to make an appearance, it's still a
bit of a surprise. And it takes awhile for parents and baby to hit their
stride. Somehow, though, blogging is slightly less intimidating than
parenting a newborn.
